REFLECTION:
Technology Facilities, resources and professional development opportunities are all part of this standard. The artifacts for this section derived mainly from TBE 550 technology plan critique and revision assignment. It wasn’t until I began critiquing the technology plan based upon the ISTE standards that I realized it was the a very vital ingredient to effectively using technology in an organization. By evaluating and providing recommendations for Thomas Starr King High School's Technology plan, I was able to identify key process that helped minimize technology-related issues.
Substandard VII-A is closely related with using the technology in educational setting, that I have a lot to say about it. In addition to the excess of artifacts [Critique of Technology Plan, Windows Lesson - Intro to MyGradeBook, Windows/Mac Operating System Summary, Troubleshooting, Operating System Summary/Troubleshooting Guide as well as the following 3rd Party Websites: MyGradebook.com and Infinite Campus.]. Planning and purchasing of technology resources for Substandard VII-B were dealt with by my Critique of Technology Plan, my Annotated List for Distance Learning and my Distance Learning Systems. In addition, I have attended various seminars and workshops to continue my own professional development in the design field as a multimedia and design instructor.Together these substandards show the development and implementation of technology infrastructure, procedures, policies, plans, and budgets the school I have worked for.
