JUSTIFICATION:

As part of my curriculum for the Technology Based Education Masters program, I created a workshop for the Educators (see above). The lesson, Adobe Photoshop for Educators, walks teachers through the basics of using and utilizing the image editing software Adobe Photoshop. One of the most important things teachers can learn is how to use the technology their students are using and want to use more. This way they can incorporate this technology into their classes. For this workshop I also created a Workspace and Glossary of Terms Handout, so teachers can become familiar with the jargon of this image editing software. This workshop has consists of; two webquests to practice skills, web based online training tools and web links, two quiezes and the final project that the students will create at the end of the workshop.
I manage student learning in my Workshop by monitoring our hands-on activities and not going forward until everyone has accomplished the tasks successfully. The Workshop, oral presentation, and hand out collaboration focus students on what is necessary and important to complete their task.
