- Technology Enhanced Typography Lesson - Macromedia Director (PDF Document) (Click to Open)
JUSTIFICATION:
I have created Basics of Typography interactive lesson on the Macromedia Director program to help students learn the basic terminology of Typography in the design and print fields. There are many Typography terms to be learned and I included interactive assesment at the end of each lesson. The Director program strongly focused on developing analytical skills in students and supported classroom discussions and activities.
Visually enhanced Typograpghy lesson exercises requires students to synthesize, evaluate, and apply their knowledge interactively. To manage student learning activities and support learner-centered strategies, if the students were unable to meet listed in the tutorial objectives and outlined in the rubric, the program interceded by branching and teaching and showing them the subject matter again the same way before allowing them to move and proceed onto the next lesson.
