JUSTIFICATION:

In addition to oral and written evaluation, I include multiple methods of interactive assessments to evaluate student progress in my presentations, online lessons and interactive tutorials. On my Macromedia Director Typography training program and on my online workshops, I was able to create from technology resources and apply a collection of visually attractive assessments to enhance student learning of subject matter. Using basic computer operations, students click on or enter answers and receive prompt feedback about their performance. I created a script in my Macromedia Director programs that electronically track student’s scores at the end of the lesson inside the Assesment section.

By using a variety of assessment techniques, I help students identify areas of strengths and weaknesses. I found it was necessary to provide examples of what is expected from the assessment and then create a variety of ways to assess on the same topic. These are essential components ensuring student higher learning. Using technology to track student progress has also helped me demonstrate proficiency of NET standards.
