JUSTIFICATION:
The knowledge I have gained helped me immensely now I am able to insert functions in Microsoft Excel® to automatically give me score averages according to the points assigned to each lesson. I also created grading charts to give me a visual representation on how all students are doing overall in the class compared to each other. In addition, I posted my email address workshop website I have created so that students could contact me with any of their questions or concerns they had concerning their grades. By me entering and managing students grades in the electronic grade sheet I created, I can provide students with prompt feedback on total points they have earned, individual averages compared to class average, and a graphic representing their progress in my class overall. I often share average grades on quizzes with students so they can see for themselves when they collectively succeed or struggled. To maximize student learning, I provide my students as much feedback as possible. Using technology to evaluate student progress has proven both efficient and motivating to student progress. I have also sharing my grade charts with the administrative department and student affairs so that they can also track the student success and create reports.
