REFLECTION:
I have learned to develop various types of evaluation tools that were included coursework from the Technology Based Education program. Tools such as rubrics, needs assessment surveys, research, and interactive assessments have proved valuable in my personal and professional development. I especially was pleased to learn instructionally enhanced evaluations like the ones I created in several of my classes such as: TBE 540 class, web evaluations; TBE 550 class, PowerPoint enhanced evaluations; and TBE560 and TBE 570 Macromedia Director assessments. These assessments and research on assessing has taught me how to provide feedback so that it encourages learning and prompt feedback to motivate future attempts of a task.
I’ve also learned how to create Excel grade books and budgets using a variety of formulas to track student progress and my own personal expenses. Since I’ve learned to create my own budget and expense tracking sheet, I’ve been able to accurately balance my financial accounts and improve my tax results year after year.
